We have faced a non-trivial task - to make puzzles a multi-user game.
Guided by the client’s ideas and wishes, we have turned a classic puzzle into a real-time competition. A player is offered to choose a number of puzzle elements (9/16/36), and then a competitor from any country of the world will be automatically selected. The first participant completed the puzzle becomes a winner. Information on the history of victories/defeats and all completed puzzles is stored in the player’s account. The funny thing is that, according to the statistics, girls are the most active game users (about 70%).
We took into account the experience of existing similar games, designed a new interface, took familiar elements of online two-person games as a basis, and integrated the puzzle mechanics into this environment.
